Become a dumbmanian

Driving good weather. I called Arakawa Dam upstream of Shosenkyo.
Yamanashi Prefecture, surrounded by mountains, originally flooded with water. In particular, it seems that the Ise Bay Typhoon in 1954 suffered as much as 9 billion yen. A river improvement to prevent disasters was promoted, and this Arakawa Dam was constructed as part of it. The name of Dam Lake is called Nohizen Lake.

The altitude was also high and the sign of spring was still far away, but we saw a lot of tourists as well. The blue sky is blue, the color of the lake surface is also beautiful. So here in winter it is recommended. There is no wind, the surface of the water is calm. A red roof intake tower is reflected on the lake surface like a mirror. The waterfoward voice is echoing, it is a terrible scene.

It is a bit hard to understand, but this is a picture of a wall damming water. It is obvious that it is a rock-fil type dam made by stacking rocks and earth and sand. It is a scene where the hardships of those involved in construction work are fulfilled.

Also impressed with the Arakawa Ohashi bridge over the upper stream and the lake shining on the sunset. It is a really beautiful dam. I think that it is worth a look if it is not a dam amania.
