Wasteful beauty

Have you ever seen a grape flower? This is it. It is in full bloom now. It is very plain, is not it? I can not find anything like a petal.
Grapes are pollinators, we pollinate by themselves without the help of insects such as bees and butterflies. So do not you need captivating petals? Do not you think that it is dignified and full of functional beauty like a self-sustaining career woman somehow.
The grapes are now the season of flowering. In "Irish gardens" at Ichinomiya, they are in bloom one after another in the same order as the order of harvest.

And young leaves of grapes of this season are delicious if it is tempura. Is it a bitter taste and taste of adults? Of course, it is quite delicious to be eaten even locally as it is only young leaves that are not disinfecting. If you have a chance, please try it.
